We raise funds to support our many programs and our primary award program:
Live Your Dream Award.

In support of this program, Soroptimist of Portland provides several cash awards each year – in 2021 we distributed $8,000, split between three recipients. 

Many of our recipients are survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, or sexual assault. Nearly all have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, domestic violence, and substance abuse. These women are striving to improve and change their lives, which impacts their families and their communities for the better.
