An insightful update from our members as we reflect on the 71st Meeting of District 2, Northwest Region, held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA from October 25-27, 2024. Attendees were treated to engaging reports from Northwest Region leadership, highlighting key initiatives and developments. We were also inspired by the keynote speaker, Susan Tate Ankeny, author of "American Flygirl," who shared her unique perspective and experiences as an author. This meeting not only fostered connection among members but also discussions on important topics for our region's future.

 

Soroptimist District 2 is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc., in the Northwestern Region. It encompasses all of Oregon, excluding the northeastern corner, as well as Southwest Washington. Soroptimist clubs are dedicated to empowering women and girls by providing guidance, training, and resources to help them overcome obstacles.
